The House

Casa de Gallo’s rambling interior has been lovingly decorated to feel like home, albeit a home full of secret corners and idiosyncratic touches.

The villa is on three levels, the top floor being dedicated fully to the en-suite master bedroom, complete with French windows looking out to breath-taking views of the Atlantic coast. The main living areas and all the bedrooms bar one overlook the sea, and have French windows onto balconies or terraces.

Both living rooms also have a fireplace to cater for the winter months, as well as TV, DVD and stereo system. The ground floor living room has satellite TV, as well as a separate dining area for 8 people, whilst the lower ground floor living area has a sofa-bed as well as various board-games; perfect for winter nights in front of the fire.

Bedrooms:

Casa de Gallo comprises 4 bedrooms: 1 double, two twins and one single, which has a slide out bed under the main bed. Three of the rooms include French windows leading onto terraces and the master bedroom is en-suite. All the bedrooms have wardrobes.

Bathrooms & WC:

There are 4 bathrooms and one separate WC, all decorated in the traditional Portuguese style, with the beautiful hand-painted tiles this part of Portugal is so famous for.

Kitchen:

The kitchen looks out over the hydrangea bushes of the back garden, providing a perfect spot for informal dining. Decorated in a typical Portuguese style, complete with traditional hand-painted tiles, the kitchen also includes plenty of built-in storage space, as well as a large fridge-freezer; microwave; hob; oven; dishwasher and washing machine.

Laundry room:

There is a dedicated laundry room with washing machine, drier, sink and ironing facilities on the lower ground floor, as well as a mini-fridge for those on the lower ground floor in need of a lazy midnight snack...

Garden:

The charming old stone-walled garden surrounds the villa and offers total tranquillity and seclusion. Flowers and fruit trees abound, delivering charm and colour in abundance, as well as creating secret spots in which to escape. The front lawn provides an ideal spot to lie in the sun before diving into the pool to cool off, whilst the terraces are the perfect place to enjoy a BBQ or pre-dinner cocktails.

Parking:

There is parking space for 2 cars at the front of the house.
